Daisy and Dandelion – 2 year old male and female Black Rabbits

Daisy & Dandelion came into RSPCA Walsall care in November 2009. Daisy & Dandelion are a neutered male/female pair of bunnies who are happliy bonded together. They would appear to be siblings and are 2 years old. Dandelion is going through a moult so looks a bit tatty in his pictures, but when his moult is complete his coat will look as soft and velvety as his sisters. If you feel you can offer them a home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk

Wally – 10 month old male Brown and White Rabbit

Wally came into RSPCA Walsall care in November 2009. Wally is a 10 month old crossbreed rabbit, we think that he could be a Netherland Dwarf crossed with a lionhead. He has been neutered/vaccinated and is fine to now live with a female bunny for company.

Wally is a stunning bunny. He is very bold and quite conversational. Possibly the noisiest rabbit I have ever heard! He is always buzzing and growling, but is not afraid of anything any more. He even let me have a lovely cuddle tonight, quite a change from the first day he arrived in care.

Inside his hutch Wally can be a little teritorial but just entice him out into a carrier and then he is putty in your hands. With more time I am sure he is going to be a fantastic boy to handle. Combine that with his stunning good looks I think that whoever is lucky to adopt him will be privilaged.

If you feel you can offer Wally his forever home, please email us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk or call us on 0845 272 3570.

Harry and Sally – 9-12 month old male and female White and Grey Rabbits

Harry and Sally came into RSPCA care in September 2009. They came to us from a member of the public who found them. They had both been abandoned on the side of a road in Aldridge. We don’t obviously have much information on them, but we would estimate their age to be approximately 9 – 12 months old.

Both of these bunnies are very friendly. They get on really well together so we will keeping them together as a pair. I would class them both as large bunnies (not to be confused with giant breeds). They are a perfect match for each other and we can only assume they were dumped due to someone’s circumstance rather than anything related to the actual rabbits, as they are a delight to care for. Sally had very bad teeth when she first came in and we feel this had been left untreated as she was very thin. She has had a dental and now she is on a good diet, her recent teeth check showed a very small regrowth. We feel this can be managed through 6 monthly checks, and should not really be an issue to anyone adopting them as long as they are kept on a diet of 85% hay with pellets and vegetables.

If you feel you can offer harry and sally their forever home, please contact us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk or call us on 0845 272 3570.

Ronnie and Snowy – 3-5 year old male and female Brown and White Dutch and White and White Rabbit

Ronnie and Snowy have been in foster care here at Walsall RSPCA for 2 years now. They came in seperately and were bonded in our care due to them both being lonely. Ronnie is a 4/5 year old neutered female dutch bunny and Snowy is a 3/4 year old male REW.

Ronnie was brought to us with her sister, but as they were fighting we had to split them. Snowy was a stray, his owners were located but didnt want him back.

Both bunnies are tame, especially Snowy. Ronnie prefers to do her own thing, but will have a fuss at her own level. If you feel you can offer Ronnie and Snowy their forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk

Sooty – 2 year old female Brown and Fawn Mini-Lop Cross Rabbit

Sooty came into RSPCA Walsall care in January 2010. Sooty is a mini lop crossed with something that has given her the most amazing ears in the world. We are not sure of her exact age but she is a fairly young bunny at around 2 years. She arrived with fur mites and bald patches on her back where she had been pulling her own fur out in a desperate attempt to stop the itching. After just a couple of weeks and two simple injections to kill off the mites, her beautiful thick coat has regrown and you would never know that she ever had a problem.

Sooty is very confident and adventurous and has obviously been well handled in the past. She adores being fussed and cuddled and absolutely loves having her head and ears rubbed. She is relatively easy to handle and would be the perfect first time bunny for a new owner. Sooty is neutered and vaccinated and is looking for a forever home with a neutered male rabbit. If you feel you can offer Sooty her forever home, please contact us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk or call us on 0845 272 3570. Many thanks

Thumper – 2 year old male Fawn Rabbit

Hello I am Thumper. Look at how handsome I am! My last owner didn’t really handle me much, so now I am a bit territorial about my cage, however if you don’t mind me boxing you every now and again when I think you might be about to rearrange my house, then I might be the bunny for you. Once I am out of my cage I am a very easy going little chap and I love being fussed. I go all silly if you rub my head. I am really friendly to other bunnies and so laid back I even like cats too! Oh and I love my food a lot too. I am neutered and vaccinated and just waiting for someone to love me forever.

Buster and Daisy – 2 year old male and female Black and Fawn Rabbits

BUSTER & DAISY are now a bonded pair and need someone to love them. They are both in need of a loving home with loads of space to run, hop & binky round. Buster is an affectionate bunny who will lick your nose for a kiss and loves to be fussed over. Daisy is very vocal however is OK to be handled but due to size, they both feel uncomfortable when they don’t have paws on solid ground. These two will make someone great pets. Please, if Buster and Daisy are for you, feel free to contact me to view for cuddles. Dawn can be contacted on 01522 532692 to answer any queries at all that you might have. She just needs a little love and time and I hope someone can give her what she needs. Dawn can be contacted on 01522 532692 to answer any queries at all that you might have. Arthur and Mavis – 2 year old male and female Black and White and Grey Giant Rabbits

ARTHUR & MAVIS – Both these bunnies are wonderful and in need of a loving home they are about 2 years old and are Giants so if these are for you, you will be looking at a hutch no smaller than 6x3x3 or bigger and a large area for exercise . They love getting out and binkying round the garden and hiding under the tarpaulin where I keep our bikes, but will a little persuasion and round up they will go back into their hutch for the night . Mavis the blue gray female loves to have the top of her head scratched however Arthur is a bun of his own needs and just likes to get out and about. They both love their food and are on a complete rabbit pellet and plenty of hay. If this lovely large pair are for you please get in touch. Dawn can be contacted on 01522 532692 to answer any queries at all that you might have. You can also email Dawn directly on bunnyfostermum@yahoo.co.uk . Oprah – 2 year old female Black Rabbit

I am OPRAH and I am recently divorced from Thumper who has run off with Atesha. Apparently it was my fault, as I love my food more than Thumper. Oprah was obese when she came into our care so her food intake will need to be watched to ensure she doesn’t overeat. She also developed an abscess on her face but these has now been successfully cleared up and her fur has grown back.

Oprah needs exercise but isn’t particularly confident in open spaces so will need someone prepared to give a bit extra so this girl can enjoy life to the full and never be so overweight again. If you think you could love Oprah and give her a home and lots of time for fuss, then please contact our foster mum Charlotte – cats_ratsandrabbits@hotmail.co.uk
