Gus
Gus is a lop eared male, he is a chunky but truly charming chap who simply loves people and being around them. As soon as someone walks by he runs up and down excitedly trying to catch their attention. If this fails to work then he picks up the nearest object in his mouth such as a toy or piece of paper and frantically rushes around whilst looking as cute as he possibly can.

This usually does the trick and the lucky person is then treated to the full Gus repertoire. This includes standing on his hind legs with his front paws on the person’s leg, nudging the person and following them when they try to leave. Gus is a fearless rabbit who doesn’t always know what’s good for him and who has the capacity to get into all sorts of scrapes through his curiosity in exploring and meeting other rabbits and animals.
Luckily his trust in people sees him through as he nearly always comes back to them when he is called. His new carers will need to keep an eye on his antics and be careful that he does not get underfoot.
Gus is confident and lively rabbit who is used to older children and to being handled. He would make an excellent indoor or outdoor rabbit but above all he will need constant company plus a stimulating environment to satisfy his love of life. Gus will either be paired with another Mayhew rabbit or could bonded with a pet rabbit looking for a companion.
Related Listing Info:Fudge
Fudge was from an unwanted litter destined for a pet shop. He is currently 10 weeks old. He was the only male of the litter so has had to be separated from his four sisters so we don’t have anymore unwanted bunnies to cope with. We are looking to rehome him with a neutered female under 2 years old preferably. He can’t be neutered yet so a neutered female is his best option, we are not looking to rehome him alone.

Starsky
Starsky is a 3 year old neutered female french lop eared rabbit. She has been in care since 17-10-08. She is a very friendly little girl, she is always very welcoming when you go to her, She is very loving and is always happly to have a cuddle and stroke. She is very lonely and would gladly welcome the company of male rabbit.

When she came in the lady was very sad to leave her but her daughter was no longer interested in her. She took a little time to gain my trust but is now happy in my company. She has had some tummy problems in the past but this has been solved by giving her a diet of excel pellets and hay. This little girl is very special and has her own special personality and will be missed when she goes to her forever home. We would like to rehome her with a neutered male.
Related Listing Info:Sandy
Sandy is a Lionhead cross Dwarf lop female aged approximately 3 years old. She has come back into care as she couldn’t get along with the last bunny she was rehomed with, he was very timid and she a bit too much woman for him. She has slight hearing problems but that doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She needs a confident male to keep her warm on these cold winter nights. Do you have a male that can make Sandy into a good little bunny wife?

Thelma and Louise
Thelma (black) and Louise (fawn) are two female English rabbits aged approximately 2 years old. They came into care 18-10-07 as unwanted pets and are inseparable. They have been pushed from pillar to post so we need to find them a permanent home soon.

These girls don’t appear to have had much of a life before they came to us, stuck in a cage with barely enough room for one rabbit let alone two. When let out in the garden their run was not much better. They didn’t even have names when they first came to us. Both girls have been spayed.
Thelma seems to have settled in well and appears to be at ease in human company. She is happy to be picked up and handled. Louise is a special little bunny who still needs lots of time spent with her to ease her back to the fact the humans are not the enemy. She has already started to become accustomed to the fact that I won’t hurt her and does no longer charge round the cage when it is opened trying to hide.
She does however give a nervous little grunt which is quite funny to hear. Both Thelma and Louise appear to be more secure being held than you would think and are happy to run about in the garden. These bunnies will make lovely pets to somebody, who has got lots of time and love to give to them.
