Daisy & Dandelion came into RSPCA Walsall care in November 2009. Daisy & Dandelion are a neutered male/female pair of bunnies who are happliy bonded together. They would appear to be siblings and are 2 years old. Dandelion is going through a moult so looks a bit tatty in his pictures, but when his moult is complete his coat will look as soft and velvety as his sisters. If you feel you can offer them a home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk

Millie and Robbie came into care as part of a large rescue the RSPCA did where breeding had got out of control. These two make a really lovely pair, and we are pretty certain that they are brother and sister. We would estimate them to be around 8-9 months old now. Robbie is an absolute little darling, he doesnt mind being handled. Millie is a little timid, she is a little nervous of being handled but is fine when out in the run/garden. If you feel you can offer Robbie and Millie their forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or enail us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk

Harry and Sally came into RSPCA care in September 2009. They came to us from a member of the public who found them. They had both been abandoned on the side of a road in Aldridge. We don’t obviously have much information on them, but we would estimate their age to be approximately 9 – 12 months old.

Both of these bunnies are very friendly. They get on really well together so we will keeping them together as a pair. I would class them both as large bunnies (not to be confused with giant breeds). They are a perfect match for each other and we can only assume they were dumped due to someone’s circumstance rather than anything related to the actual rabbits, as they are a delight to care for. Sally had very bad teeth when she first came in and we feel this had been left untreated as she was very thin. She has had a dental and now she is on a good diet, her recent teeth check showed a very small regrowth. We feel this can be managed through 6 monthly checks, and should not really be an issue to anyone adopting them as long as they are kept on a diet of 85% hay with pellets and vegetables.

If you feel you can offer harry and sally their forever home, please contact us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk or call us on 0845 272 3570.

Ronnie and Snowy have been in foster care here at Walsall RSPCA for 2 years now. They came in seperately and were bonded in our care due to them both being lonely. Ronnie is a 4/5 year old neutered female dutch bunny and Snowy is a 3/4 year old male REW.

Ronnie was brought to us with her sister, but as they were fighting we had to split them. Snowy was a stray, his owners were located but didnt want him back.

Both bunnies are tame, especially Snowy. Ronnie prefers to do her own thing, but will have a fuss at her own level. If you feel you can offer Ronnie and Snowy their forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at enquiries@rspca-walsall.org.uk

Buster is an affectionate bunny who will lick your nose for a kiss and loves to be fussed over. Daisy is very vocal however is OK to be handled but due to size, they both feel uncomfortable when they don’t have paws on solid ground. These two will make someone great pets.

Hazel and Fiver are brown and white Dutch rabbits. Mum, Hazel, is always happy to run up to her carers when they offer her fruit and veg but she is very nervous of being picked up and stroked, which is probably the result of a negative experience when she was the victim of an uncaring breeder.

(Hazel pictured above)

Since she has been at The Mayhew she has improved a great deal, but it will take time and patience to bring her on further.

Her son, Fiver, is the complete opposite and enjoys meeting new people and likes to be petted and stroked. He also enjoys playing. As a bonded pair, these two will make two different but very rewarding pets.
