Esme is a stunningly beautiful and elegant 18 month old standard rex, her fur is extremely soft and thick it is like stroking velvet. So far Esme has an unsettled life moving from home to home before she arrived in rescue with her sister; however they were separated immediately due to them fighting.
Esme has calmed down alot since she came into care. Shes getting more friendlier by the day. Esme loves to play with toys and they keep her entertained for hours, you can often hear her throwing her jingle ball around the hutch, or see her chewing on her willow toys.
Rex rabbits are prone to sore hocks so need to have a very soft padded floor within their accommodation this can easily be achieved with a thick layer of soft hay. Esme is looking for a neutered male to share a forever home with. If you feel you can offer Esme her forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gandalf is a one year old female bunny. She’s a little shy and timid but a very beautiful girl with a gorgeous coat and colouring.
Rocky is a breathtakingly stunning bunny. He came into care as an unwanted bunny at 1 year old. He is a divine chocolate colour and has a lovely personality to match. Rocky is a friendly lad with lots of personality. He can be independant and like to investigate things but also likes a fuss and a head rub. Rocky is vaccinated and will be neutered shortly. We are looking to rehome Rocky with a female rabbit for companionship. If you feel you can offer Rocky his forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at email@example.com
Echo came into care as part of a cruelty/neglect case. She was taken into care by another area in May 2009 after being taken from a house where she was kept in dirty cramped conditions. She was transferred over to us for rehoming in December 2009. We estimate her to be 2-3 years old, she has been spayed, neutered and microchipped.
Echo hasn’t been shown much love or attention in her past so she is understandably nervous of new people. She needs to get to know and trust someone before she will start to become her true self. We need someone patient and understanding to give Echo the room to grow and blossom. She is a real sweetie and loves a head rub.
When she was spayed the vets found that Echo had a couple of small spurs on her back teeth. Hopefully with the correct diet this may correct itself, although Echo will need regular teeth checks when she has her vaccinations.
We are looking to rehome Echo with a neutered male for company. If you feel you can offer Echo her forever home, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0845 272 3570.
Pepper is a male timid harlequin guinea pig. He ran so quickly around his hutch we struggled to get a photo of him that wasn’t blurry!!
Spice is a femle harlequin guinea pig. We think she may be pregnant so potentially will have babies to rehome soon. Spice can be reserved now but won’t be rehomed until either we know she isn’t pregnant or her babies have been weaned.
Daisy & Dandelion came into RSPCA Walsall care in November 2009. Daisy & Dandelion are a neutered male/female pair of bunnies who are happliy bonded together. They would appear to be siblings and are 2 years old. Dandelion is going through a moult so looks a bit tatty in his pictures, but when his moult is complete his coat will look as soft and velvety as his sisters. If you feel you can offer them a home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at email@example.com
Wally came into RSPCA Walsall care in November 2009. Wally is a 10 month old crossbreed rabbit, we think that he could be a Netherland Dwarf crossed with a lionhead. He has been neutered/vaccinated and is fine to now live with a female bunny for company.
Wally is a stunning bunny. He is very bold and quite conversational. Possibly the noisiest rabbit I have ever heard! He is always buzzing and growling, but is not afraid of anything any more. He even let me have a lovely cuddle tonight, quite a change from the first day he arrived in care.
Inside his hutch Wally can be a little teritorial but just entice him out into a carrier and then he is putty in your hands. With more time I am sure he is going to be a fantastic boy to handle. Combine that with his stunning good looks I think that whoever is lucky to adopt him will be privilaged.
If you feel you can offer Wally his forever home, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0845 272 3570.
Millie and Robbie came into care as part of a large rescue the RSPCA did where breeding had got out of control. These two make a really lovely pair, and we are pretty certain that they are brother and sister. We would estimate them to be around 8-9 months old now. Robbie is an absolute little darling, he doesnt mind being handled. Millie is a little timid, she is a little nervous of being handled but is fine when out in the run/garden. If you feel you can offer Robbie and Millie their forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or enail us at email@example.com
Ronnie and Snowy have been in foster care here at Walsall RSPCA for 2 years now. They came in seperately and were bonded in our care due to them both being lonely. Ronnie is a 4/5 year old neutered female dutch bunny and Snowy is a 3/4 year old male REW.
Ronnie was brought to us with her sister, but as they were fighting we had to split them. Snowy was a stray, his owners were located but didnt want him back.
Both bunnies are tame, especially Snowy. Ronnie prefers to do her own thing, but will have a fuss at her own level. If you feel you can offer Ronnie and Snowy their forever home, please call us on 0845 272 3570 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Sooty came into RSPCA Walsall care in January 2010. Sooty is a mini lop crossed with something that has given her the most amazing ears in the world. We are not sure of her exact age but she is a fairly young bunny at around 2 years. She arrived with fur mites and bald patches on her back where she had been pulling her own fur out in a desperate attempt to stop the itching. After just a couple of weeks and two simple injections to kill off the mites, her beautiful thick coat has regrown and you would never know that she ever had a problem.
Sooty is very confident and adventurous and has obviously been well handled in the past. She adores being fussed and cuddled and absolutely loves having her head and ears rubbed. She is relatively easy to handle and would be the perfect first time bunny for a new owner. Sooty is neutered and vaccinated and is looking for a forever home with a neutered male rabbit. If you feel you can offer Sooty her forever home, please contact us at email@example.com or call us on 0845 272 3570. Many thanks
